Black Satin is a small formal decorative type in a moody dark burghundy color. It has a bit of a smaller stature than many dahlia plants, but still maintains excellent cutting lengths for stems. Black Satin has been known to bloom late on our farm, zone 5b/6a. It is a prolific tuber maker!
